În capitala Arabiei Saudite, la Riad, a avut loc a noua Conferință a Inițiativei pentru investiții în viitor sub sloganul „Cheia prosperității: Deblocarea noilor frontiere ale creșterii”.
Printre cei peste 200 de vorbitori și peste 1.000 de participanți au fost lideri globali, factori de decizie politică, directori generali ai celor mai mari companii din lume, investitori, cadre universitare, reprezentanți ai organizațiilor non-guvernamentale, antreprenori, inovatori, oameni de știință, activiști și membri ai mass-media.
Conferința privind viitoarele inițiative și investiții de la Riad, care reunește peste 40 de lideri mondiali și oameni de renume din domeniile științei, tehnologiei și afacerilor, merge la pas cu cele mai moderne tendințe, atât în domeniul economiei, geopoliticii, cât și al inteligenței artificiale.
România nu a fost prezentă, dar Serbia da.
Serbia a fost reprezentată de ministrul Afacerilor Externe și trimisul președintelui Republicii, Marko Đurić, care a avut o serie de întâlniri bilaterale cu oficiali străini pe marginea forumului. Accentul a fost pus pe promovarea oportunităților de investiții ale Serbiei, consolidarea relațiilor cu Arabia Saudită și țările din Golf, precum și pe atragerea de capital.
